Most people can handle the equipment, but finding the time is often the real challenge. Mowing a typical 1,000–1,500 m² lawn with home equipment usually takes around 2 hours. If there are many corners or hard-to-reach areas, trimming can easily add another hour. During the growing season, that means roughly 3 hours every week.
Our service is hassle-free. We arrive with our own equipment, mow the lawn, and trim the edges. After mowing, we clear clippings from paved areas and ramps. You don't have to worry about blade sharpness or whether the mower will even start after winter.
Our pricing applies to level lawns up to 15 cm tall, with no steep slopes or steps. We agree the scope and frequency of edge trimming and clean paths and hard surfaces after mowing.
When mowing near large windows, we direct clippings away from the glass. To avoid damaging vehicles parked on or near the lawn, we leave a 2-metre safety zone around them.
Work schedules are agreed in advance. We mow on weekdays from 8:00 to 21:00, and by arrangement also on weekends.
How the work is done
The exact scope depends on the property, but the usual order of work is as follows.

We agree on mowing height, frequency, and timing so the maintenance fits both the lawn growth and your schedule.

We mow with suitable equipment and direct clippings away from windows, vehicles, and terraces.

We trim edges, fence posts, tree bases, and other areas the mower cannot reach.

We clear clippings from paths, ramps, and paved areas, and let you know if we notice the lawn needs extra care.
How much does lawn mowing cost?
Lawn mowing starts from €60 per visit and depends on lawn size, grass height, and access. The price applies to level lawns up to 15 cm tall; a 50% surcharge applies for grass between 15 and 25 cm. Seasonal clients get free edge trimming at least every other visit. For an exact quote, send us an inquiry with your address and the approximate lawn size.

During rapid spring growth, lawns usually need mowing once a week and sometimes more often. In summer, frequency depends on rainfall and growth. Mow less often and leave the grass taller in dry weather. Remove no more than a third of the grass height at a time. With a maintenance contract, we monitor mowing needs and agree a suitable schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Maintenance contract or one-off mowing?
A maintenance contract is the simpler and more convenient option — it means we keep track of when your lawn needs mowing. You can always adjust the mowing frequency on the fly if the agreed interval doesn't feel right.
If you choose a one-off order, please allow up to one week from order to completion, since we need to coordinate with existing commitments and logistics to fit your lawn into our mowing route.

How tall should the grass be after mowing?
During the fast spring growth period, the grass can be left at about 4–5 cm. In summer, when the sun is intense, it's better to leave it a bit longer — around 6–8 cm.
What if I'm not satisfied with the work?
If the result does not match what was agreed, contact info@niidumeister.ee as soon as possible. Include a description and, if possible, photos so we can assess the situation and agree a solution.
For mowing, trimming and cleanup, please contact us within two days where possible, as weather and growth can quickly change the result. For other work, we would appreciate feedback within seven days where possible. These are requested feedback periods and do not limit statutory rights.
