Hedge trimming

A beautiful and dense hedge can be achieved with regular cutting!

The secret to a beautiful hedge is regular cutting. An unmaintained hedge becomes sparse and "porous", and repairing such a hedge is a very difficult and time-consuming job. It is often impossible to save the hedge and it must either be cut back very severely or completely uprooted and replaced with new plants.

Our experienced hedge trimmers have a keen eye, having cut hedges of varying lengths and heights on both flat land and slopes. They can also advise on restoring a hedge or maintaining a completely neglected hedge without causing too much damage to the plants.

  • A deciduous hedge is generally pruned 2-3 times during the summer.

Cut back 1/2 - 1/3 of the growth at a time.

  • A coniferous hedge is usually cut once a year - in the fall.

The best time for cutting is considered to be August-September.
