Sunken/risen rocks
Often, stones that have sunk or risen are a problem in yards. The causes of such changes are often different, but in most cases it is possible to lay the stones straight again without having to remove the entire stone parquet.
In the case of subsidence, the cause is usually errors in the installation of the stones or subsidence or displacement of the soil. In most cases, it is enough to simply level the base and re-lay the stones, and you can enjoy an even and flat stone parquet again.
The situation can be more complicated with raised stones. Raised stones are often caused by a change in temperature, which causes the soil to move. Often the stones have also been pushed together and in this case, just picking up the stones locally may not be enough, it is necessary to pick up the stones over a larger area and re-lay them. Sometimes this work seems very large and we have also solved the situation by cutting the stones into smaller pieces. Often the work is much less time-consuming and the result is much more affordable, but still polite. Raised stones can also be caused by tree roots that are under the stones. Depending on the size of the roots, it is often possible to remove them and level the surface of the stones and lay the stones back.

Sanding stone parquet
After washing, the joints of the stone parquet should be filled with sand again. This ensures that the stones stay in place and that soil, thorns, or leaves do not get between the joints and that weeds or moss do not grow there.
