Weed and moss control

Weeds and moss should be dealt with as soon as you notice them in your garden. Both spread quite quickly under favorable conditions and are much more difficult and expensive to get rid of later.

Weed control

Probably all gardeners have come across weeds.

Weeds spoil the appearance of the lawn and consume nutrients in the soil, eating away at the grass. Frequent mowing helps prevent the formation of weeds.

But this is not always useful, as weeds can reach your garden from an unmaintained neighboring property or from a distant grassland. Since we are licensed to use professional herbicides, we can get rid of even the most troublesome plants without damaging the lawn.

Moss control

Moss on the lawn is a fairly common problem. Most often, the problem is excessive moisture, under-fertilization, too acidic soil or insufficient sunlight. If these problems cannot be eliminated, it is possible

use moss control products. However, it should be noted that if the original problem has not been eliminated, the moss will not disappear.

If it is known that moss is a problem in the garden, moss control could be combined with spring lawn aeration.

We use a high-quality fertilizer that contains nitrogen and ammonium and iron sulfate. When using such fertilizer, the soil pH drops sharply for a short time. Since lichens cannot tolerate rapid pH fluctuations, they turn brown and disappear.

At the same time, the nitrogen in the fertilizer accelerates grass growth.
